The Sports Blueprint's 2025 NFL Mock Draft 2.0 (Ft. Smayan Srikanth)
Final version of The Sports Blueprint's 2025 NFL Mock Draft.
I was joined by Smayan Srikanth as we alternated making picks for the first round to complete the final version of The Sports Blueprint’s 2025 NFL Mock Draft. I released one mock draft, this is an updated version based on any new information gathered.
Odds = Chris
Evens = Smayan
Tennessee Titans - Cam Ward, QB, Miami
While I personally believe Shedeur Sanders will be the better pro Quarterback, Cam Ward seems to be the consensus #1 overall pick. Will Levis may not be the worst Quarterback in football, but Tennessee has a chance to draft and develop a potential long-term player under center.
Cleveland Browns - Travis Hunter, WR, CB, Colorado
Yes, the Browns definitely need a quarterback, but this offense needs some sort of life injected into it. However you think about it, there’s not a chance that the Browns are competing next year, so the QB can be addressed later. By drafting Hunter, you’re getting generational talent to pair up with Jerry Jeudy.
New York Giants - Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
The Giants pass on Abdul Carter here to grab their QB of the future. I’m not sure what Sanders’ ceiling is, but he’s more than likely going to provide stability under center for the Giants. In a class with a lot of depth and not quite the most firepower, this move solidifies a position of need for the Giants with the ability to surround their QB with assets later on in the draft.
New England Patriots - Abdul Carter, Edge, Penn State
Abdul Carter is an awesome pass rusher and would be a great addition to Mike Vrabel's defense. With the Patriots in a rebuilding phase, Carter would be a great addition for this team. He would be super beneficial for a defense that finished last in the league last year in sacks.
Jacksonville Jaguars - Mason Graham, DT, Michigan
There are many ways the Jaguars can pivot here and although a DT may not be the need for Jacksonville, if you’re able to get a player like Mason Graham, you run to the podium and figure out how to make it work later. Graham is a game-changing piece in the middle of any defense and gives the Jaguars a cornerstone piece.
Las Vegas Raiders - Will Campbell, OT, LSU
The Raiders have visited Will Campbell. In the last 3 years, he’s only allowed 2 sacks in total. Plus, Geno Smith needs protection, and if they want him to do to the best of his ability, then he’s going to need a good blocker, and that’s Will.
New York Jets - Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State
With new QB Justin Fields under center for the Jets, they need as many pieces on offense as possible. Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall or two studs, adding Warren would give the offense a new element, especially with Fields’ ability to run, whether designed or off-script. Warren has shown that he can lineup anywhere on the field offensively, which is a huge boost for Fields.
Carolina Panthers - Jalon Walker, LB, Georgia
The Panthers could not extend Brian Burns before trading him to the New York Giants a year ago. They can fix that by picking Walker, the Butkus award winner, who has elite instincts and blows up numerous plays throughout a football game.
New Orleans Saints - Will Johnson, CB, Michigan
The Saints traded Marshon Lattimore away last season. That opened up a hole at the Cornerback position and while a guy like Kool-Aid McKinstry could play himself into a top corner, it wouldn’t hurt to give him some competition and draft the top cornerback prospect in the draft. Will Johnson may not be the flashiest player in the draft, but you know what you’re getting in a guy with great technique and polished cornerback tools.
Chicago Bears - Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
This Bears offense is almost complete, and there’s only one piece left to seal the deal. The best one-cut runner in this draft class, Jeanty, is the final piece for this Bears offense. Once you give Caleb Williams a play-action game, with Jeanty as the running back? It’s pretty deadly.
San Francisco 49ers - Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M
San Francisco’s contending window seems to be closing. A good way to nullify that is by adding an instant contributor in Shemar Stewart. Stewart has the potential to be a productive starter for a very long time.
Dallas Cowboys - Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
With this pick, the Cowboys will finally get a 2nd WR to pair up with Ceedee Lamb, so that he wouldn’t have to do all the heavy-lifting. He has outstanding body control, leaping ability, and hand strength.
Miami Dolphins - Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina
Miami’s secondary is growing thin, especially with the expected departure of Jalen Ramsey in the coming weeks as he was recently put on the trade block. Emmanwori is a big-body safety that would add speed and strength and give the Dolphins an interesting chess piece defensively.
Indianapolis Colts - Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
If the Colts aren’t able to get Colston Loveland, they are absolutely screwed. The Colts are in huge need of a tight end. More specifically, an easy option for the passing game. He’s a good run-blocker. I’m really excited to see Colston Loveland in action. He’s one of my favorite prospects in this year’s class.
Atlanta Falcons - Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall
Had Mike Green played at a Power 5 school, the chances are that we’re having different conversations about his draft position. Nonetheless, he’s one of the most intriguing prospects due to his ceiling. He has the speed and bend to be one of the top players in this class and a no-brainer pick for a young Atlanta team looking to make a leap.
Arizona Cardinals - Kelvin Banks Jr., OL, Texas
The Cardinals’ offensive line was in the middle of the pack last season. If the Cardinals want to do well this season, they’re going to need Kelvin Banks and invest in some good protection for him and the run scheme that the Cardinals run.
Cincinnati Bengals - Walter Nolen, DL, Ole Miss
When I watch Walter Nolen, I see a player with superstar potential. A guy that big should not be moving that quickly. When you add his sheer strength and his ability to shed blocks, especially in run defense, the Bengals get tremendous value at 17.
Seattle Seahawks - Grey Zabel, IOL, North Dakota State
Seattle has now shifted to a zone-based run scheme, meaning that Zabel’s body control and run blocking IQ will be a huge bonus. He will give the Seahawks solid value, and he has excellent footwork.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas
I’m not as high on Barron as most, but that doesn’t mean that he’s not one of the top corners in this class. For a team trying to find its identity in the secondary, Barron makes a lot of sense for Tampa Bay. If he falls to 19, the trio of Antoine Winfield Jr., Jamal Dean, and Jahdae Barron would make for a nightmare secondary for opposing offenses.
Denver Broncos - Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina
Sean Payton has continued to stress that he will be focusing on the running back position in this year’s draft, and with Ashton Jeanty already off the board, Omarion Hampton is the next best bet. Hampton has the vision and patience to maximize what’s blocked for him, and is build for a good workload.
Pittsburgh Steelers - Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama
Milroe is one of the most intriguing prospects in the entire draft. He has the raw and athletic tools to be a star, but needs some work on his mechanics. There’s no better place for him to end up in than Pittsburgh, where they’re currently looking for their QB of the future.
Los Angeles Chargers - Matthew Golden, WR, Texas
This guy ran the fastest 40-yard dash at this year’s combine. The Chargers’ WR room isn’t good, but it’s improving, especially with Ladd McConkey as the #1 receiver. Pairing him up with Matthew Golden, and this WR duo would be insane.
Green Bay Packers - Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State
Egbuka is the safest WR prospect in this class, for the simple fact that he has all of tools you’d want in a potential superstar. He’s a good route-runner, he’s a good blocker, and he’s an overall smart football player. With the Green Bay Packers missing a true #1 guy, Egbuka makes a lot of sense here.
Minnesota Vikings - Malaki Starks, S, Georgia
Harrison Smith is not the answer. He’s been in the league since 2012, and the Vikings are in dire need of a safety. Malaki Starks is the perfect fit for the Vikings and the best way to keep them competitive in the NFC North, one of the most competitive divisions in the NFL.
Houston Texans - Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State
There’s no other way around it. The Texans have to protect C.J. Stroud and what better way to do that than Josh Simmons, one of the most complete linemen in the class. Simmons could very well end up as the best offensive tackle from this class and the Texans would get a steal here at 25.
Los Angeles Rams - Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama
Currently, the Rams’ biggest need is a linebacker, and with an already dominant defense, Jihaad Campbell would be a perfect pick for this team. Campbell finished with 117 tackles, five sacks, and two interceptions in 2024.
Baltimore Ravens - Armand Membou, OT, Missouri
OT isn’t neccessarily a glaring need for the Ravens, but Membou is a guy who has been rising in mock drafts recently and would be the best player available at this point for Baltimore. Membou is another guy with legitimate raw talent and with the right coaching and refinement could be a gem.
Detroit Lions - Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M
Nic is one of those guys who has a lot of long-term potential. He’s also one of those guys that everybody knows a team is going to draft. I don’t see the Lions going with anyone else with this pick. All Lions fans want someone to pair aside Aidan Hutchinson. Double the damage dealt, huh?
Washington Commanders - Shavon Revel Jr., CB, East Carolina
Those that have followed my draft work know how high I am on Shavon Revel. Barring health, he’s the best cornerback in the class and had he not gotten hurt this past college season, he’d be a shoe-in as a top 15 pick. He has the length, strength, speed, and coverage skills that any team would love to have. If he stays healthy, he and Marshon Lattimore could be a problem to work around for opposing offenses.
Buffalo Bills - Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon
The Bills have to beef up the defensive line, especially since they have to beat Mahomes at some point if they want to make a run at the Super Bowl, which we all know Bills fans are dying for. He’s disruptive and powerful in the middle.
Kansas City Chiefs - Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri
Luther Burden just screams Kansas City. He’s an electrifying WR with the ball in his hands and he may not have the technical ability that someone like Egbuka has, but he’s an outright playmaker and the exact type of player that would fit right in with Andy Reid’s offense.
Philadelphia Eagles - Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE, Boston College
The Eagles somehow have a void in the pass rush, and Donovan Ezeiruaku would be the perfect fit for this team. Ezeiruaku earns his sacks with active rush angle manipulation and intelligent hand application. He could struggle against the run at the start of his career because of his small frame, but he could turn out to be a key player, especially on pass-rushing downs.
